C-HEAL Clinic Referrals

The C-HEAL Center will also include a clinic for children who are refractory to early intervention efforts or overweight or obese with co-morbidities.

The HEAL Clinic will utilize an intensive, multi-disciplinary approach to evaluate and treat children and provide long-term care management. The clinic will be staffed by a pediatrician with extensive knowledge of childhood obesity, a registered dietitian, and an exercise specialist. Pediatric hypertension, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and genetic specialists employed by Children’s Hospital will be affiliated with the HEAL Clinic for ease in making referrals and coordinating care.
