Types of ResourcesPatient ID Bands and Access Codes
- Parents/guardians will receive a wrist band upon the child’s admission which provides access to all floors. Please wear this band at all times at the hospital.
- Visitors are required to check in with our Guest Relations desk in the Children’s lobby to receive a Visitor’s Pass. Please return this pass to the Guest Relations desk when you leave Children’s Hospital.
If You Have a Security Need
If you have an immediate security need or have a safety concern, please alert your care provider; or call 423-778-7614 (ext. 7614). Erlanger’s Safety & Security team is available 24/7.
Escorts to your car
A member of our security team will be happy to walk you to your car if you would like. Call 423-778-7614 (ext. 7614).
Lost and found
To ask about a lost item or to turn in a found item, call Security at 423-778-2573 (ext. 2573). Be sure to put your child’s last name on items you bring from home.
Valuables and belongings
Valuables you do not wish to keep in your hospital room can be safely stored in our security area and obtained at time of discharge. Please take all valuables with you when you leave your child’s room. Put your child’s name on everything you bring from home.

- Alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, and other weapons are not allowed on hospital property.
- Erlanger is a smoke-free campus.
No Photography, film, or videography - To protect the privacy of our patients and guests, photography or videography within Children’s Hospital is not permitted.
