About / Overview

Dr. Steven Austin grew up in the Cleveland/ Chattanooga area attending McCallie School and Covenant College. He completed his medical school and internal medicine training at University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. 

Following a year on faculty at UT as internal medicine chief resident, Dr. Austin completed cardiovascular fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Austin has practiced in the Cleveland, Chattanooga and Marion County area for over 20 years and continues to emphasize lifestyle modification and preventive healthcare with his patients.
