Oncology Navigators Are Your Cancer Care Guide
Your oncology navigator is knowledgeable about all aspects of cancer care and the cancer care system. Navigators view the healthcare system through your perspective as a patient. They are aware of the treatment(s); as well as, experiences you can expect through your cancer journey. Furthermore, Navigators are knowledgeable of any community resources that can help support you and your family during treatment and recovery. This integral part of your Erlanger care team communicates with the entire healthcare team and collaborates on your behalf to facilitate seamless quality care.
