“In October of 2023, a patient collapsed outside of the ED in Bledsoe. The physician was on his lunch break and rushed over to assist with CPR in the parking lot. He then continued to assist with care once the patient was in the ED. The patient was transferred by air ambulance to the Baroness campus. The cardiology office received a call from the patient’s PCP notifying us that the physician would be late for his afternoon clinic because he was at the ED. Once the patient was taken care of, the physician finished his afternoon clinic and was on-call that evening, as well. He is a great example of what it means to compassionately care for people and we are proud to have him as part of our physician team.”
